The ever expanding coalition of support behind Judges Cheng, Karnow, Lee, and Ross has added another powerful voice to it’s ranks.
Senator Kamala Harris has pledged her support in the effort to retain these San Francisco judges, joining the dozens of other elected officials that understand the importance of protecting our judiciary.
Sen. Harris: “I’m proud to endorse Judges Andrew Cheng, Curtis Karnow, Cynthia Ming-mei Lee and Jeff Ross for re-election to the San Francisco Superior Court. All of these judges have demonstrated their commitment to serving the people of San Francisco through the fair and impartial administration of justice. As conservative interests throughout the country try to politicize our judiciary, we can take a stand in San Francisco by voting to retain these supremely qualified judges.”
“We want to thank Senator Harris for her support and the value that an endorsement from someone with her record for fairness and accountability holds in this vital election,” said Judges Cheng, Karnow, Lee, and Ross. “In these hyper political times, it is more important than ever to maintain the independence of the judiciary and to defeat the political opportunism that threatens to taint our system.”
